This warning message is displayed when an excessive quantity of water has collected within the fuel filter. It is normal for a small amount of water to be present in diesel fuel.

The water must be drained out of the filter.

The general message warning light indicates the medium priority status of the warning message.

If the instrument panel displays a warning message, an excessive amount of water has collected in the fuel system. In this event, consult a retailer/authorised repairer as soon as possible. Water in fuel can damage engine components or the fuel system.
