There are two ways to lock the vehicle without arming the tilt sensor:

• Press the lock switch on the smart key once.
• Press the lock switch on a door handle once*.

The vehicle will lock. The interior motion sensor is disabled. The tilt sensor is disabled. The interior door handles remain enabled. The alarm will sound if a door is opened.

* Applicable to vehicles with keyless entry only. Keyless entry is also known as passive entry.

The tilt sensor should be disabled if the vehicle is locked and being transported (for example, on a recovery vehicle or a ferry).
