Stop/start may be inhibitted for any of the following reasons:

• Stop/start has been switched off.
• A paddle switch has been used to select a gear.
• The brake pedal is not fully pressed.
• The accelerator pedal is pressed.
• The bonnet/hood is not fully closed.
• The driver's door is not fully closed.
• The driver's seatbelt is not fastened.
• The climate control system is operation at a high setting (cooling or heating).
• The windshield demisting is operating.
• The brake booster vacuum is depleted.
• The battery state of charge is low.
• The catalytic converter is too cold.
• The engine is too cold.
• The ambient air temperature is greater than 40°C (104°F).
• The ambient air temperature is less than -4°C (24.8°F).
