DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER FULL - SEE HANDBOOK

This warning message is displayed when the diesel particulate filter is almost full.

To empty the diesel particulate filter, drive the vehicle for 20 to 30 minutes at 65 to 120 km/h (40 to 70 mph). The warning message will clear when the diesel particulate filter is empty.

If the diesel particulate filter continues to fill up, the warning message will change to 'DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER FULL - VISIT DEALER' and engine performance will be reduced.

The general message warning light indicates the medium priority status of the warning message.
