This warning light illuminates when a fault has been detected with the airbag system. The vehicle may be driven normally but one or more airbags may not deploy in the event of an accident. A rear-facing baby seat should not be used on the front passenger seat, even if the passenger airbag is deactivated.

Illuminates as a bulb check when the ignition is switched on and extinguishes when the engine is started. If the light illuminates while driving, there is a fault with the airbag system. Seek qualified assistance as soon as possible.
