Trailer Warning Light - Flashing
This warning light flashes when a trailer is connected and the left or right direction indicator is switched on, and does not indicate a fault. If the trailer warning light does not flash when a trailer is connected and the left or right direction indicator is switched on, the relevant trailer direction indicator light is inoperative.
Handbook Extract
Illuminates as a bulb check when the ignition is switched on and extinguishes when the engine is started. If a trailer is attached, the warning light will flash in conjunction with the direction indicator warning light. If the light fails to flash, the direction indicator bulb on the trailer may be faulty.
