The ethanol content of gasoline/petrol is denoted by a signs on the pumps at filling stations. 'E' is ethanol and the number is the maximum percentage of the fuel that is ethanol.
All Jaguar gasoline/petrol engines from 1992 model year are compatible with E10 gasoline/petrol.
All Land Rover gasoline/petrol engines from 1996 model year are compatible with E10 gasoline/petrol.
All other Jaguar Land Rover gasoline/petrol vehicles should continue to use E5 gasoline/petrol.
Do not use fuels containing more than 10% ethanol. Higher ethanol content can damage the vehicle’s engine and fuel system.
Fuels containing up to 10% ethanol may be used. For example, E5 and E10.
Make sure that the fuel has octane ratings no lower than those recommended for unleaded fuel. Correct engine operation should not be affected with fuel containing the permissible amount of ethanol. If a difference is detected, the use of conventional unleaded fuel should be resumed.
